A lesson taken from the Silver-Burdette Making Music book; unit 6, lesson 10 (pgs. 224-225).
This is a great lesson with a very catchy tune! Students will learn the words melody, harmony, and ostinato. Students will also get to try out instruments and see the notation! This lesson is divided into two parts, meant to be completed over two days. The first day the students learn the song, then the second day they review the song and their musical part and then are evaluated by their performance, and by their knowledge of the vocabulary. This is a lesson I devised and PowerPoint I created, so please use if you need to. If you use this in a college assignment, please credit my blog.
